Dr. Katherine Coughlin received her MD from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons and completed bother her Pediatric Residency and Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine training at the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia. She is now an attending neonatologist at Sharp Mary Birch Hospital for Women and Newborns and is the Director of Quality Improvement for San Diego Neonatology, Inc. In addition to being a CAN Board member, she is active in the CPQCC. Her extra-clinical work involves leading several QI projects and expanding the use of point-of-care ultrasound.
