Dr. Christine Johnson completed her medical school education at the University of Southern California and her Pediatric Residency at the University of Minnesota.  She returned to California to complete her Neonatology Fellowship at Stanford University.  She remained at Stanford and is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor of Pediatrics.  She is the NICU site director for the Critical Care Core Clerkship at Stanford School of Medicine, a required ICU rotation for 3rd and 4th-year medical students.  She practices at El Camino Health’s Women and Children’s Hospital in Mountain View, CA, in their community level 3 NICU.  She is involved in several quality improvement projects at El Camino, including the Neonatal Resuscitation Committee, which provides on-going resuscitation education for the NICU nursing staff and respiratory therapists, and the Small Baby Task Force, which focuses on optimizing the care of infants born <32 weeks GA or <1500g to provide the best outcomes.
